WHAT TO DO WHEN STUCK IN PLACE<\/p>\n
When we feel “stuck”, it could very well be because we haven\u2019t yet let go of the past.<\/p>\n
We all have experiences we’d rather not recall, events that may have caused us much pain and suffering.<\/p>\n
Most often, because we haven’t done the inner work that’s necessary to do, in order to forgive ourselves and others, we continue to manufacture more of the same pain we once experienced.<\/p>\n
Many years may have gone by, and the people we blame for inflicting the pain upon us may no longer be in our lives, yet we still choose consciously or unconsciously, to keep these negative memories “alive” in our minds.<\/p>\n
We end up staying in a destructive loop of either feeling depressed and miserable or angry and hateful.<\/p>\n
Invariably, we don’t stop and ask ourselves, why am I doing this? Is this the way I want to live my life?<\/p>\n
If you find yourself in such condition, stop for a moment and ask yourself: is this helping me to progress towards my goals in life or is it causing me to stay stuck in place?<\/p>\n
Who would you be if you finally rid yourself of all the negative memories from your past?<\/p>\n
Would you be a happier person? Would you be more productive?<\/p>\n
Would the people around you enjoy you more?<\/p>\n
If the answer to one or more of these questions is yes, maybe it’s time to reconsider how you’d rather spend your energy…<\/p>\n
Perhaps, you’ll decide that this is NOT who you choose to be, this is not conducive to your overall health and well being.<\/p>\n
Maybe you’ll choose not to stay in agony because there’s so much more to live for …<\/p>\n
