Begin by starting a conversation with yourself so you can take charge of your life.<\/p>\n
Who are you? Where do you want to go? What is most important to you?<\/p>\n
Do your desires correspond with the values \u200b\u200byou’re committed to??<\/p>\n
If you continue with your specific way of living, where will you end up??<\/p>\n
What needs to change in order for you to feel better?<\/p>\n
If honest with yourself, you’ll always find room for self improvement.<\/p>\n
Do you find yourself being triggered by what others do or say?<\/p>\n
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why?<\/p>\n
Perhaps it’s because you do not know yourself well enough or maybe it’s because you’ve gotten used to acting much like a robot, rather than being aware of your thoughts and feelings.<\/p>\n
What would happen if you saw your triggers as a golden opportunity to discover more about yourself ??<\/p>\n
Instead of becoming angry, hurt and resentful, because someone “made” you feel unloved or not good enough, take responsibility for your emotional world.<\/p>\n
Bottom line, no one has the power to make you feel anything, unless you are in agreement with what they say or do.<\/p>\n
If you desire to have more control of yourself, in order to not be subjected to other people’s moods or state of being, you must know yourself better.<\/p>\n
Practice clarity of thought – you’ll be able to establish a healthier and a deeper relationship with yourself.<\/p>\n
Here’s an exercise you can do in order to connect with yourself;<\/p>\n
Be present – Place your right hand on your chest, and breathe deeply from your heart. It is the healthiest way to support yourself.<\/p>\n
As you’re breathing deeply and slowly, ask yourself: Am I being triggered right now? How do I feel? What am I afraid of?<\/p>\n
The more questions you ask, the more clarity you’ll gain; you will also be able to achieve the results you want quicker and more efficiently than ever before.<\/p>\n
