{"id":966,"date":"2014-02-12T08:22:05","date_gmt":"2014-02-12T13:22:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.esteelevinson.com\/site\/?p=966"},"modified":"2014-02-12T08:22:05","modified_gmt":"2014-02-12T13:22:05","slug":"joy-found-world-around-within","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.esteelevinson.com\/site\/joy-found-world-around-within\/","title":{"rendered":"Joy is not found in the world around you, it&#8217;s within you.."},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Do you believe something external can make you happy?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>What do you think happiness is?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Is it somewhere you get to, as a reward for being good?<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If you start from the very beginning, this world we live in was created so we could all live in it, a happy and fulfilled life.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Happiness as well as all other feelings, behaviors and actions are solely in our control.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>What happens to us is not always up to us, but the way we choose to react is only up to us.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It may be a bit uncomfortable for us to admit, but deep inside we know it&#8217;s the<\/div>\n<div>truth.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>So, what happens?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Why do we sometimes behave in ways, that in retrospect we are not very proud of?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We get hypnotized..<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>we lose control of our senses.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We allow the wild part in us, (animal) to take over &#8211; captivated by our own selfish needs and desires.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>When do we feel happy?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Is it not when we feel that in someway way, somehow we made a difference in someone&#8217;s life? That because of our contribution somebody&#8217;s life changed for the better?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Can you compare that to a Gucci bag or a house in Malibu?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Which will you choose?<\/div>\n<div>So what is happiness?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Happiness is a feeling we create, every moment of every day &#8211; what we want to feel and how we want to present ourselves to the world ~<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you believe something external can make you happy?
