What made it memorable to you?

My first official job was working as a cashier, when I was sixteen years old.

It was summer break and I had worked for the entire time I was off from school.

What I remember most, was what I had done with the money I earned.

I felt so gratified and happy when I placed the golden necklace with a Star of David on my boyfriend’s neck.

What is special to me about this story, is that this boy friend, who was an American student that came to Israel, has been my husband for the past 30 years ❤️
